Today has always been a weird day for me to have a birthday. When I was a skinny 24, I had a fantastic cake shaped like a guitar (just like Elvis..) and loads of expectations. Nowadays the cake is tiny, no icing, and just one candle - and I'm just happy to be healthy and surrounded by my wonderful family. Top presents included a flask of nostalgia for my shed tea and classy Moto Guzzi mug from my brother and his family - thanks bro! I also appreciated the badge (pin) too that I was given. Zimmer frames rule!!

Best wishes for your birthday - but no slacking now, when's the next edition of the mag coming out?
;-)
First I've got to do my tax return. Then I've got to work out to see if I can carry on...
Many happy returns of the day. Hope the Magazine keeps coming out - it's class.

Thanks. Much appreciated. I'll do my best but the bills are getting bigger..
Happy Birthday Adam and Best Wishes for a Great 2012! I do hope you can carry on, of course! So many story ideas percolating...
Belated happy birthday Adam. I hope we can be in touch again - I have a Bonneville being restored at the moment. Maybe a Guzzi or Ducati is next. All the best, Gav
