I drilled it in the doorway of my garage bent over with it resting on a block
wood. I stress-relieved all of the holes too and paid for it over the next
couple of days with a bad back. It took, I think, over half a day to do and

i love that tank and seat combo john then the silver frame...also ill have a chat to you one day about those mufflers....the sp1000 has an old set on it.....sounds great but cant find a supplier from here.....and i was wondering what kind of taillight assembly you had on it...looks great with a small round one like that..i went for a similarone on the mark 1......adam cant wait to see it in the mag mate....

I don't know what else is in that hub... but I'd be afraid of the hub cracking and collapsing...
Hi Carl,Yes, you are right the possibility of cracking is at the back of my mind but I am periodically checking it for any obvious signs. The bike has got to come apart in the winter for various reasons and I might get my friend in the aero industry to get it crack tested. If I ever get to ride it to Italy or.... I would probably put a standard item back in.
