Can anyone tell me why the prices of bevel Ducatis have got completely insane in the last three years or so?

Pete - yeah you're probably right (I'm not bitter) though when I was offered or considered an SS a few times over the last 20 years, I didn't take it as I needed a reliable bike (it wasn't so long ago my bike was my only transport..) so always had Guzzis or Jap stuff. They're lovely bikes but I still don't see why they cost so much now.
