MOTONERO Moto Guzzi 950 special - for sale!!

It's lucky that we went and shot and road tested John W's latest Moto Guzzi special down in Bristol a few weeks ago for the mag, as he's put it up for sale, and it won't hang around long. Based around a 950 Spada motor, with ported heads and 36mm Dell'Orto pumpers, John has added his hand crafted touch to the bike, so it's a one off. It looks brutal, and rides beautifully - it's very fast - and handles smoothly. We'll have a full article in the mag soon, possibly in Issue 6 which will be finished soon.

We still think that John is building the best Moto Guzzi cafè racers in the UK, and he's not part of the current scene that has decided that Moto Guzzis are now 'fashionable' - he's been quietly building them for years. Wish we had the cash. For the full spec, check the link below..

New Guzzi special underway from John W at MOTONERO

This is the current Guzzi special being built by the capable hands of John W at MOTONERO Motorcycles, and it's going to be very nice. John buil the Guzzi cafe' racer that we featured fully in Issue Two of the mag, and we have another of his bikes coming up in Issue 5 soon.

We really like the way he mixes in modern components like the Ohlins remote reservoir shocks and Paioli USD forks, with an old school approach to the look of the rest of the bike - but John just always gets the lines right, whereas so many other Guzzi specials fall flat.

This one also features 41mm FCR Keihin flatslides too, so we're expecting it to travel fast.

Keep an eye on what John's up to at his blog:  MOTONERO

Moto Guzzi 950 special by MOTONERO - for sale

This is John W's 1100 Sport chassis, single seat, with a 950 Spada motor. Different and brutal looking. We like what he does, because he doesn't follow the crowd.
