ReplyDeleteOne of the intelligent bands of the punk scene. Went to see them play with the Sex Pistols at the Lanchester Polytechnic in Coventry in 1976.Even got to to go in the dressing room afterwards as we knew the Clash's roadie. I think we probably just gawped at the snarling Johnny Rotten. Good times !!
ReplyDeleteGreat memories John. I saw the Clash once in 1981 with Theatre of Hate supporting, at The Lyceum in London. I was almost 15!
