Coke adds life


John's Guzzi gearbox internals after a good soaking in Coca Cola, a going over with a wire brush and a good dribble of gearbox oil. Lovely!!

    Matt,Yes,I only left them soaking in the Coke for a maximum of 4hours and most of the rust had lifted then went over it,as is,very quickly with too coarse/harsh a wire brush. I'll get round to taking them completely apart at some point and go over with a more flexible rotary wire brush.Anyway should at least be able to salvage some of it.Be interested to know what the world's favourite drink does to your insides? John
