Spannering solitude on the Guzzi special

I just don't get time to work on my bikes, and I miss it. Today I had a good few hours to mess around with my Le Mans special, and try out a few things, and it felt really good. Just me, the radio and my tools.

  1. Hey Adam,

    Nice set-up , very seventies , Me likee likee.Is that your old S3 750
fairing You are using, the one that was on the bike when You visited us in Belgium , couple of years ago.
Is that a lemans ? look`s more like a V7 engine (or S3)or is it just the high headcovers.
    Wrenching is the perfect
    DE-stresser ...keep it up.

Hope see You again in Belgium

  3. Adam,I like the way your Guzzi is looking and yes a few hours tinkering can be very therapeutic. That's exactly what I need so I am off into the garage myself!

  4. Hey Nico man, good to see you round these parts, hope you're well!! Been meaning to come over again for the great rally in Belgium, I hope next year. This is a Le Mans 2, yep early rocker covers, fairing is similar to the one I had on my S3, nit sure if I'll use this, probably need something like a Ducati SS one, a bit lower...anyway, I'm building this when time and money allows..you still got your Guzzis?

  5. Matt - it's a Sprint fauiring, loosely based on a Ducati SS fairing, don't think I'll got with it though..

  8. ciao adam

what about the codino (tail section)??

    where does it come from??

    :)

  9. The tail section I bought from John W who built the beautiful Guzzi cafe racer in Issue Two of the mag. It's a Rickman piece though I don't know which bike it would have been on in the 70s, reminds me of something Kawasaki myself..
